Sheep wool against deer

Hang some unwashed sheep wool from trees and bushes to keep deer and hares away. These animals don't like the smell of the wool and therefore stay away. An old trick that works surprisingly well but as often with natural things, there is no guarantee that they will help.

Then you can see the positive that you haven't spread anything dangerous, but instead give the small birds some good nesting material.
